Classes run September-June (no classes over the summer)
Children love to work with clay! In my classes we learn through creative projects the basic clay techniques of coil, pinch, slab, hand-building, sculpting, and of course throwing on the potter's wheel. Each project will have an element of building with a basic clay structure (say a mug) and then we will add an element of individual creativity where the kids can go wild with their imagination (turn that mug into an imaginary creature). There are also ample opportunities for the kids to try the wheel. The children will be able to glaze and take home all of the projects they do in my class. I offer classes in small groups 5-7 per class for all ages, both daytime for homeschooled kids and after school classes
